When you live in Israel you somehow get used to things we should never get used to.
On Friday night, a barrage of rockets hit the Israeli town of Netivot. One of them hit the yard of one of the houses resulting in this damage. Luckily no one was hurt, because IDF officials warned citizens to stay close to safe rooms. Close means you have 15 seconds to reach the safe room. 15 seconds.. think about it.
Keep in mind, this was not unusual to residents of this area. For the last month or so this region has been living with a daily drizzle of rockets - try to imagine raising kids in this environment.
I praise the people of southern Israel for their strength and ability to maintain their daily lives despite this ongoing threat. But this is not something we should accept.. no other country would.

Everyone in the civilized world should read this short article and truly give it some thought. Put yourself in this families shoes....we should all rise to give Israel our deep support!! -BBJ
